Due to the coronavirus epidemic we have decided to close the Well House and Bullpen for bookings until the end of MAY 2020
We are very pleased to welcome you to stay at Roselidden, and offer the Well House for self-catering holidays, the Bullpen for revitalising retreats, and camping in your own tent in the grounds.
The Well House
The Well House at Roselidden is a delightfully light and airy hideaway set in glorious countryside, so you can really get away from it all.
There is fantastic walking and cycling on the doorstep.
The Well House sleeps two in comfort and style in the vaulted main bedroom, but the sofa bed and day bed can also be made up (at extra cost) in the living room for additional guests. The Well House is the oldest building at Roselidden, built at least two hundred years ago. It has been lovingly restored using traditional materials to modern standards of luxury. Guests often comment how spacious the Well House is for a small property.
Two major supermarkets are few minutes drive away in Helston, and both can arrange deliveries.
Roselidden is convenient for towns such as Helston, Falmouth, Truro, St Ives and Penzance, North and South coast beaches, and is a fantastic base for walking, cycling, viewing bird and wildlife, prehistoric monuments, culture and industrial archaeology.
During the busy summer period we prefer to let the Well House on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday, but in quieter periods we are happy to rent for periods of three days or more.
Our weekly rate throughout 2020 is £390 per week, or £60 per night for shorter stays.
For 2021 the weekly rate will be £420, or £65 per night for shorter stays.
We also now charge a £30 cleaning fee per visit, since most stays are now short breaks.
Availability is shown in green on the calendar.

We advertise on AirBnB and Homeaway, who both charge commission to host and holidaymaker alike, so it is always cheaper to book with us direct.
The Bullpen is a very pared back two room space, intended for periods of contemplation and revitalisation.
It is comfortable yet simple.
There are basic facilities for cooking and washing, and a composting toilet.
Woodburning stoves and underfloor heating ensure that you remain warm throughout the year.
From your bunk bed you can watch the passage of the sun from its rise in the East to its setting in the West, and delight in the green fields that surround Roselidden.
There is a very private outside sitting space that basks in the sun for most of the day.
We have deliberately not provided wifi, so that the atmosphere in the Bullpen is as calm as possible.
Ideal for staying solo, the Bullpen can sleep up to four if needed.
Please contact Peter or Jos if you think a stay in the Bullpen would be of benefit.
We have an area set aside for camping surrounded by hedges and trees for seclusion.
Full kitchen, showering and toilet facilities are available in the Long Barn nearby.
Contact Jos or Peter if you would like to camp at Roselidden.
